I went and looked at the American Eagle web site. The ONLY series 315 wheel I could find was the "Boss 315." If that's the one you're looking at I'm afraid I have some bad news for you.
The Boss 315 in a 20" size ONLY comes in a 6 bolt lug pattern. If you want that particular wheel you'll have to go to 18". It also comes in a 22" 5 bolt pattern, but I'm sure 22's are going to be much to big no matter what size tire you use.The Memphis Senior
You can take a look at my gallery to see what they look like and how the fill the wheel well. With the 255/55X18 Nitto's they are a bit snug. They rub in full lock turns at parking lot speeds and on rough roads at speeds above about 40-45 or so.
Also my speedo is now off by 6% slow. That is when I'm indicating 75mph I'm actually doing 79.5. That's because the factory tires were 27.4" tall and the 255's are 29.0" tall. 235/50X18 would probably have been a better choice. They're 27.3" tall so will fix both the speedo and clearance prob. If your truck is the stock hight and you don't plan on lowering it you can use the 255's. But again your speedo will be off. That can easily be solved with a programmer if you're planing to get one. Take a look at www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html. It will give you an idea what the new tires will look like, size wise vs what you have on there now. Life's short. Eat desert first.
