I beams/ disc brakes

Josh here. I had a question about drop i beams. I have a 1971 ford f-100 and i was wanting to intal drop ibeams and disc brakes. The problem is that i havent found disc brake conversion for my truck.

i was wondering if i could use drop ibeams from a later year and use the disc brakes from that model. Or if there is a way to get disc brakes on the 71 beams.

your help is greatly appreciated

Anything from a f100 truck up to 1979 will work. I am using 76 parts on my 67.

staying with 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton under 6900lbs

65-74 I-beams are identical
65-79 I-beams are identical

the differance is in the kingpin diameter.
73-74 disk brake spindles will mate up with 65-72 I-beams

75-79 I-beams will bolt into earlier trucks but you need the later spindles with them.
