Got over 160,000 on my 94 EB with the 5.8. She still runs and drives smooth (after I just replaced all the original universal joints), and only need to add a little oil from time to time. Body has a bit of rust, but what can you expect in the middle of the rust belt, but all of that is going to be fixed this summer. Should have no problem with the 200,000+ mile mark with this driveline.
Got 2 of 'em. I have a 1982 300-6 with 133,000 on it and am the original owner - so not hogh miles just lots of years. Also have a 95 - 351 with 112,000 - bought it in 99.
'88 XLT, 351w, third owner, just rolled over to 143k. Ran like a charm until I swamped it last summer :-( Still on the original engine, but rebuilding soon due to bend rods during the swamp..
i own the nicest bronco i've ever seen! this baby has been completley torn down and replaced with new interior and exterior items! it is so sexy. it has a blacked out inside, and with outside with black flares! It has a new motor and transmission, but im mad because i dont know what motor or transmission i have, the sticker said it had a 302 with a 4 speed manual, but the gap on the motors vavle cover is too far apart to be a 302 and matches the gap of the 351 perfectly, now i dont know if it is windsor or clevland! lol. sucks! lol the transmission is auto-3speed, guessing it a c-6, i can see the old hole when my clutch used to come up into the cab and everything! i love it though, even though it gets horrible gas millage! (hopping to get a 6" suspension lift, 3" body lift, and a sick sun visor on it soon!) i will post some pics when i get the time.
1996 XLT 351 Just hit 82 2 and a half weeks ago I do belive but I havent driven it it almost a month due to a cracked bolt in the cylinder head and running in circles thanks to FOrd saleman
Has been my do it all car for two year...engine has 7 PSI of oil pressure for the past 2 years running 20W50 oil pretty sure the cam bearings are the culprit...planning on swapping engine out this summer.
Originally had a 351W accorsing tot he factory sticker but now appears to have a 302 (at least that is the only oilpan gasket it would take ) so it may be on at least it's 2nd engine...but you take that back off in the summer and I still love it!
Bought my 91 3 years ago from the original old man owner with only 24,000 miles on it. He only drove it a couple times a year up to his cabin in Michigan.
Now it's got 80,000. It would be cherry, if I hadn't wrecked it last summer.
Hopefully she'll get a new hood, and new paint job soon and look great again.
