front shock mounting hole size in F100??
Help! need front shock mounting hole size.
<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1>I'm going to adapt mid 70's Ford Pickup shocks (Monroe MAgnum 34900's) for my 74 E100. I can't buy HD shocks for the 74 E100 anymore. I have to make an adapter plate as the 34900's have a straight shaft mount (and rubber dounts) while the older E100 shocks has an shaft going through the upper top of the shock that had bolt slots on either side. Does anyone know how big the front shock upper mounting hole on the F series is? I want to get the rubber donuts to seat right in the plate- they look to have a small lip that goes donw thru the hole.
Any info appreciated. Anyone have a F series scrapper they can take a quick peek at?
