Runs occasionally, when it doesn't no fuel pressure in rail and pump doesn't run. Have already replaced fuel pump relay, cam jump relay and get pressure, is there a sensor in fuel rail or oil line that would cut power to relay. And if, where is the little ______ hiding

pressure comes and goes, with the stalling, long rest breaks,,,, took 2 hours to get boat from behind garage, now I'd like to take it to the lake
Hot wireing the pump keeps pressure up, code scanner reports nothing, but engine light keeps flashing
Not sure about the eec relay yet
hot wired pump, won't start, sputters with ether(small sputters)
seems to crank easy (don't notice compression- spins right along like plugs out) was 100- 150 4 months ago. Timing chain?????????
weathers been bad, I've been lazy, plus 3 more excuses
Compression still the same as before,
have rotated distributor as far as it will go both directions, no change in poping, letting pump run for 10 minutes produced an almost start, and using a longer toothpick on schrader valve results in a beeter dischage of gas then my finger tip produced trickle, I may have better pressure then I thought
But still won't run
I am going back to your first post. Jump terminals on the oil pressure switch. If it runs then, its either oil pressure switch or lack of oil pressure.
