91 explorer over heating

Need help on over heating. The coolant is coming out of the resevoir. I thought it might be radiator so I flushed it as recommended and made sure no air remained in system. Coolant still coming from overflow. Also, and I'm emarrassed to ask, where is the thermostat located.....I can not find.

Thanks

Follow the top radiator hose back to the engine. The neck it attaches to houses the thermostat. Remove the 3 10MM bolts to R&R it. Make sure you also get a new rubber seal for the rim of the thermostat, DO NOT cross thread the bolts when replacing them as the intake is aluminum and a PITA to repair if you do.

Also, make sure you don't put the thermostat in backwards.
