I have a 1999 F-150 (5.4L) that has been a great truck. Lately, when I accelerate the A/C will cut off and not come back on... the only way to get it started again is to turn the A/C off and back on (while not accelerating...) This will usually work after a few attempts... I believe there's a switch that will temporarily disable the compressor during acceleration and this may be my problem... Any ideas or can anyone point me to the location of this switch for replacement?

I also now have a problem with the hot/cold selector. It may be the blend door... strange how it appeared about the same time as the previous A/C problem...
