Power Mirror Control

I posted in another part of this board looking for an answer to a quck question and didnt get any responses, so I hoping some of you electrical gurus can help me out. I have a 2000 F-150 that has power mirrors. The directional controls work fine except for when you want to move the mirror up. It doesn't work. I believe that its the contacts inside the switch, but I cant get it apart to see if they are corroded/dirty. Does anyone know how to get the switch apart?

Thanks in advance

See if the switch has any little holes or cracks in the case(not totally sealed). If it has a way to get some liquid in it, go to radio shack and get some tuner cleaner. I haven't bought any in awhile, so I hope they still have it.

This is a special spray(a little bit expensive) that was used on the old TV's with mechanical tuners. It works excellent for cleaning up electrical stuff, and if your switch has any chance of being saved, this stuff will fix it if you can get it up inside the switch and then work the switch back and forth.

Also if you have any old radios that crackle when you turn the volume control, spray this stuff inside the potientiometer, and it will work like new.
