I have a 68CS with 410 (427LR heads) that has a 5 row stagger radiator, fan shroud and stainless flex fan. Clutch fans suck (my opinion only).With a 180 stat never had a overheating problem. The shroud is a must.

Agreed that clutch fan may not be the best but the one in my 67 Mustang, 390 engine with a 428 crank works good. You could try a large parts store chain to get the clutch fan as most likely Ford will not still have it.

A fan shrowd and flex fan are on my agenda too... I plan to hit the bone yard armed with a few wrenches and a tape measure. I'm going to measure the bolt holes in the radiator then look for a plastic shrowd. If you are going for looks, Summet or Jegs can probably get you a stainless one. Don't forget to buy a fan after you buy the shrowd...you'd hate to go through all that trouble and the fan be too big for the fan hole.
