? about Extended warranty on '04 F-350 4x4
My 04 F350 had 30,000 miles on it. I want to purchase the extended warranty from the dealer I bought the truck from but he wants $3000.00.

Isn't that a little pricey?

Was it bought new or used? If it was new, the price climbs once you get over 12K miles on it. It is a little pricey- but not as much as you might think.

It also depends on the months and mileage of the extended warranty, not to mention the level of parts coverage (if it's a Ford ESP, there's Powertrain, Base, Extra and Premium).
