Thanks Gang
I finally found the culpret. It was a L-shaped vacume hose that goes from small to very large behind and under the IAC at the back of the engine compartment. Very difficult to reach and remove. I had to make shipt the part to get the truck running but I ordered the piece from FORD. I hope the check engine lights stay off for a while now as well.
Yep, that's the PCV hose that cracks and causes a lean condition. I made one out of a 90 degree spark plug boot on my Windstar and it has worked fine for over a year now.
