who makes a wiring harness for a 77 f150 short bed auto with 4x4?
No one "makes" a harness custom fit for our trucks that I know of. I got a complete bumper to bumper harness that worked very well for my 77 from painless performance. A bit pricey, but it came with everything I needed to completely rewire the truck, to include a 12 circuit fuse block. I did have to do some splicing for the the specific light connections, dash cluster, etc. The also have an awesome support department if you run into any snags!
painlessperformance.com is the site. You can't order directly from them, but a few of the FTE sponsors can get them for you....
Ok, ya'll got me. I looked for 6 months and couldn't find anythng, so I went with the painless system. At least it was about the same cost! Let us know how it works if you go with it.
my problem is that the running lights only come on when the truck is not running and when there on the brake lights dont work, only one headlight comes on. the signals are on a toggle.and the radio and tach light come on when i hit the brakes.
I had to replace my harness because the owners over the years hacked it all up and several wires was melted together. You will most likely be cheaper off by grabbing a multimeter, and a schematitic and troubleshooting it yourself.
