Reading codes/performance chips 89 F150
O.K. Guys, I've got the truck running pretty good, driving to work, down to the river, etc. Now I'm ready to start up-grading. Do I need to buy a code reader? How much? What brands do you recommend? How do I hook it up? Can I get a performance chip for this truck and is it worth it? Remember, you're explaining this to an electrician, not a mechanic so you're gonna have to be specific. (electricians are kinda slow you know) . 1989 F150 4x4 supercab xlt, 5.8L EFI, auto c6, dual exhaust, 31x10.5's.
