Poor milage
I posted a few months ago things to get my truck to get better than 8 MPG. (2001 PSD 4X4 CC) Ok I have done everyting I can think of. I changed the fuel filter, Cam Position Sensor, New BD exhaust, Edge Evolution Tuner and a KN air filter. I am at 37k miles and have put 5k on it since I got it. I went on a trip this weekend and I kept all the reciepts and added it all up. I got 9.73 mpg. I was pulling a 8500 lb trailer I set thye cruise at about 60-65 and never went over 2k RPM unless I was downshifting to go uphill. I also put Stanydyne additive every other tank of the three. Any suggestions?

for some reason the front wheel bearings drag a little bit on a 4X4. when you pull the front bearing hubs off, in the space inside the hub pack it full of grease, reassemble. Ford has a new upgrade for the dragging of the front brakes. replace the caliper slide pins with the new upgraded versions. the pin with the bushing on it goes on top. make sure that the brake pad springs don't come off either.
