the bronco has a d28 ford IFS suspension...its independent... when i say live i mean .. like you would find on a jeep to where if you take a buymp the entire length of the axle moves up or down whereas ours only half of it moves up or down....a good site to look stuff up fro this vewhicle is jamesduff.com they specialize in bronc2 and rangers and old style broncs... but for a cheap lift .. its only like 90 for a 2 in body lift .... with 2 inches you shoudl be able to fit 31's pretty well and thatwould be a good start to a buildup i spose... i'm not sure i understand the questiosn you poseed as i was a little out there at 3 am .... but im awake now and apologize for confusing you
The Bronco II has a Dana 28 Twin Traction Beam front axle. While this is similar to an Independent Suspension it is not independent. It is far superior to an independant in terms of travel.
