Not really, the truck already has the mounting points for the ECU and the IDM. You'll have to clearance the firewall for the bigger down pipe. I think the hardest part will be installing the charge air cooler (intercooler). Or you could run without it like the earlier ones but they have smaller manifolds so you'd have to change that and deal with higher EGT's.
You'll have to install an electric fuel pump complete with return system, that engine does not have the mechanical pump in the valley.
What else? My knowledge of the differences is sort of limited so I can't think of anything else right now.
the intercooler isnt too bad of a project you can modify the tubes to work since the superduty is cab forward the tubes will be a little short in a OBS truck but not a big deal. you will need the IC due to the smaller exaust turbine and hotter programming and more fuel the EGT's would be way to high without. make sure you get the IDM and PCM out of the SD shouldnt be too bad of a progect.
