FTE Server Problem?

FTE Server Problem?
Is anybody else having problems trying to access this FTE website? Lately I've been unable to access this site. My computer says it's trying to access but then runs out of time(timed out). The thing is, it's only when I try to access this site; and no other site.
Or is it my computer?

No, I don't think it is your computer, Sierraben. I have been having trouble accessing the site as well. I think maybe they as in FTE, probably upgrade thier site -every day. I have found it happens around the early afternoon for me.

Most people get online between 3p and 9pm et. Server loads are the heaviest between 4 and 7et. So it's just a matter of what the servers can handle, and with at least 4 new users added a day they just get overwhelmed at times. I've noticed that normally between 3p and 5p is the worst times for it here.

FTE is constantly going through maintenance/changes to always make the site better.
Due to the fact that the Webmaster pretty well works alone in the data base site & spends way too much time away from his normal life ,interuptions can happen during slow times of the day or week.It is based on Eastern Time.
All I can suggest is Please don't let it be a deterent, just come back & check on it every so often until you get back on.
It will happen,don't be alarmed as there are things going on in the background.

I'm just going on what I see when I log in every hour or so.. I check the board every few hours, so I'm baseing it on what I see in the new user intro forum.

We've been having "undetermined" hardware problems the last 2 days, causing the front end system to hang. I think its a memory stick going bad - I'll be in the data center this coming week to try to determine the cause.
