Dead weekends

Seems like the weekend is not the time to be on FTE. It's awful quiet around here. So, what has kept you all so quiet? For me, I made the speaker pods to replace my door speakers. I am almost done with them, just waiting for the paint to dry. Also, the taillights I got don't want to line up just right. The passenger side went in fine, but the alignment tab on the driver's side is giving me a problem. Any suggestions?

Been working on the 64 tbird. I have a rear wheel bearing getting bad(I think) and pulled the axles and am trying to pull the differential, but can't get the darn thing out. I don't think it has been off since the car was new and I need to pull it to check it and to replace the fluid. Anybody got a good idea on how to pull a 9in. Yeah I've taken to nuts off the housing and it seems to be on with 40 years of glue.(rust)

First few I did I beat and fought the things. Then someone had the idea to hook a come along to the third member and the other end to a cross member. Works on 4x4's don't know about T-Birds. Guess I'd be another use for a winch also.

Thanks Jack! I'll try that. Not much to hook onto on the bird because it is unibody, but their is always the front end. Sounds like a lot of folks have made good use of the weekend.

Saturday night was my big B-Day party and then Sunday was a day at the In-Laws celebrating their annversary. Then Monday we went to a Mud run up in Union Star, Mo and watch the Chebbies try to make it thru a mud hole(none got thru before we left). Also just bought a F-150 for a mud truck. Going to pick it up this week and try to get the rear end gears changed and a Auto traany in it for the mud runs in Platte County in July!!

Finally got the new speakers put in. I am real happy with the new sound. Let me know what you think.

Here is the first step.

I stay away from a computer on the weekends. But, I have been VERY busy on the weekends as well. Just my thing, do nothing with the internet if I don't need to.
