Hi everybody,
I'm new to the site, but look forward to getting tons of info off of it.
I've got a light blue 70 F-100 240 I6, auto, 2wd longbed. I was looking under the dash pad and i was thinking of removing it and leaving it metal. Anyone do this or seen this? What do you think? It looks really nice and round under there.
Thanks for your opinions
Brian

Welcome to FTE! I have done the dash pad removal and I think it looks great. Do a search in this forum for "dash pad" and you should be able to find plenty of stories, advice, etc.
Your dash is probably in great shape under that funky pad. I really like the plain metal look. In the link below click on "Dash Pad" and you'll see a before, during and after of mine. Good luck and post photos.

My dash pad was in very bad condition so I took it off. That was alot better till I found a decent pad. It is very hard to find a good used pad, some get their`s reupholstered.
