my bed lid sucks
i bought a tri-glas bedlid. it will not sit straight on bed, its so damn hard to open and close, a few times i was opening it...IT WAS LOCKED! the rails do not lay nice and flat and even and saturday the rod from the handle to the striker fell off......this is not a good experience with this company so far.
so tell me does this brand suck?

I'd venture to say that either the brand sucks or you got a lemon of a lid. Have you contacted the manufacturer and explained the problems you're having with their lid? Maybe they can ship you a new one? or remedy the situation favorably? If not, try to get a refund and upgrade to a more tried and trued brand.
