Talking Welcome Everyone

Just wanted to give a big welcome to everyone that is planning on attending the National Rally this year. Response has been very very good and will really be nice to meet and greet everyone. Hopefully everyone is getting pre-registered for the event. See everyone in July!!

Get some steakhouses ready for us Rollie. I will be there thursday, so let me eat good that night. Then Friday I can work it off helping set things up.

can't go

Found out today that the mud bog event i'm commited to will be held on the same day this year as it was last year and not early like they were saying, and the day its being held is the weekend of this meet.

Well i guess that there's always next year for me, but putting that aside be sure to take a lot of pictures for those that won't be there, and pictures of the more frequeant users so i can stau. . .. . .er tease them at least.

Steakhouses? Yah, we have great steaks in KC, BUT, we have the best bar-b-que in the nation! (here we start one of the most common arguments in Kansas City...) You'll have to try to get by Oklahoma Joe's for the best. It's not toooo far from the rally, in a gas station (yes, a gas station!) in KCK. Truth be told, there's so many good bar-b-que places that you could eat at one everyday for several weeks!

Oklahoma Joes in my opinion isnt worth a wait in a short line. Johnny's in my eyes is better the Gates, Wyandottes, and many others i have tried.I have eatin alot of BBQ around KCK and surrounding cities and to me, Johnny's has the best tasting ribs and beef!! Just my 2 Cents!!

They are all pretty good in my book. Won't have time to hit all them but sure can do some highlights. Some great steak houses to. I agree with the others though, Joe's out some great BBQ.

Since we're all camping in Rollie's backyard, How about we get all those mentioned to deliver there.... you know to save on our fuel costs. Yeah that sounds good....

Haaaa Haaaa, I don't think any will deliver out here in the sticks. If your in the backyard you'll get pretty hungry.

All,

See, I *told* ya my post would spark a discussion! One more bar-b-que place to mention would be LC's. It's no where near the track, actually the other side of the metro, but it's really good too!
