gauge install
Just got done installing a boost and EGT, was a little nervous of drilling while the manifold was in place so i removed it, was not as hard as i thought it was going to be to remove the exhaust manifold. Also just tapped straight into the intake manifold ifor int nstead of using the map sensor hose works great so far. But just wondering what if any boost for the truck just ideling in park?

There will not be any boost at idle. There will be no or very little if you spin up the engine while in nuetral. Boost is a function of exhaust gas pressure and that increases as the amount of fuel burned increases. Until you load the engine, there won't be enough fuel being burned to get the boost going.
