Code Help!

1990 351W EFI.

Trouble starting, but once it starts it runs good. Pulled codes:

565 - Canister purge solenoid circuit fault
334 - EGR closed valve voltage high.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix? This has been driving me crazy for a while.

Thanks

Replaced the EGR sensor - that fixed the 334 code. Anyone have any idea where the canister purge solenoid is??? I assume it refers to the purge canister located on the passenger side fender well. There is no solenoid attached to this. WTF!

Any help out there?

follow the vacum from the canister goining to the intake, solenoid is usually spliced into that vacum line!i would not worry about the purge solenoid,it usually sets a code when you have a egr problen or other emission problems!

Well, I guess I found the problem - there isn't one there! there is a connection, but no solenoid.

Thanks for the info - I'm off to the parts store
