I'd like to hear from someone who installed it before I'd want to spend that much money.

I hate to be cheap about mods, but if a mod cost me very little, I'll give it a try. If it is expensive, I want to know it will work before I spend my money.

That's cool! I completely understand being cheap about mods. $425 is a lot of dough to be dropping without having any experienced feedback. That's why the next thing I am picking up is the wicked wheel. I can sacrifice the little bit of added power if it will take care of compressor surge

I installe dmine and the same thing is happening except mine wont accelerate after stopping and bucks alot while driving at steady speed. Called EDGE and (of course) its nothing wrong with their product it has to be my truck! So I just bought a new TPS for it to see if this fixes the whole thing. I'll let you know if it does.

When I did the Wicked Wheel on my truck, it totally cured the surge issue. You will still get the big whooshing sound. I highly do not recommend doing the WW mod with the turbo on the truck. It would be a monster just trying to get the stock wheel off. With mine out of the truck, it was still a pain just breaking it loose. I can't see it being done easily while it is still on the truck. It is not hard to take the turbo off. I did all of this by myself on a Saturday. Took about 8.5 hours total with doing the CCV mod at the same time. I did not see any loss of top end power or loss of boost like some claim. Good Luck.

Wow, 8 hours! I feel a little differently from some of you guys I guess. I'd rather pay the $425 if the install is easier. Not really looking forward to 8 hours of sweatin in this Texas heat. Kinda wondering about the ATS install. Any takes on how tough it is???

Seems long, but the total actual work time was around 4 hours. Took awhile getting the down tube and the up-pipe back on the turbo and getting that damn clamp around the lips. I took a lot of time cleaning the entire motor, the intercooler tubing, inside and out, the boots, clamps, shoot, everything under the hood. Since I was doing the CCV mod at this time. I know I don't have to worry about getting all that oil everywhere again. This 8.5 hours was from the time I pushed it out, to the time I took it for a test drive. Keep in mind, that was lunch, beers, cool down time to keep from blowing a fuse in the membrane, beers and oh yeah, beers. And I wonder why I like doing my own wrenching. It would go much faster with some help.
