Monsterbaby, in that image, I'm guessing that's the radiator stuffed down in there?

Does it still stay cool for longer than just a run in the mud drags? It looks like it wouldn't get much airflow with the way the sides of the bed and the swoops/cab blocks all the air from it.

I'm plannin' on puttin' my radiator in th bed of my truck w/ 2 5,000 CFM puller fans. And I'm not sure if I'm gonna get heating problems if I tried to tuck it down like you did or not. But I'd be driving it on freeway/streets to get where I want to go still, while I believe you're trailered.

actually meilichios, the bed of a truck has a forward draft on the bed floor, i know this because all the trash and dirt get blown to the front of my bed up undr my toolbox when on the highway, because the cab makes the air curl down and forward towards the cab....ever notice how much air comes in an open sliding rear window when the side windows are open..... if you have 2 good fans pushing air through the radiator, there isnt any difference in where you mount the radiator as long as there is room on the front and back of the radiator for the air to flow from the fans.......

does mine stay cool yep, I run back to back runs towards the end of the day, and rarely get over 200 deg. That truck isn't street legal so I only run it in the mud drags so no idea how it would work but if I was gonna I probably would mount the fans on the other side of the radiator to pull the air foward but since I am only running around 50-65mph for a few seconds, and don't have a tail gate I don't get the foward movement of air so doing it the way I did works real good.
