Okay i have been thinking about this for awhile now, i'm still going but i have a concern.........
How will i be recieved when i show up in my rusty, barely legal truck at Super Run. I'm not planning on being in the center of the action durinig the "car show"; i think i will find a far away corner to park in and i'm not expecting too many, or anybody to look at my truck because it isn't no flashy show machine.
I'm wondering if i'm going to embarrass myself by tooling thru the parking lot with my truck.
Will i be asked by the Super Run guys to maybe not come out ?
It will make the drive from La Ronge i'm sure so that has to count for something ( as long as the highway patrol doesn't have a roadside check !)
I know when i have gone to cruise weekend there has been some less than rust free vehicle and i still look at them.
Looking for input from anyone ...................
You will be fine, I would sooner look at a nice old Ford like your`s then 50/60 Chubbies or Dusters and of course the ricers with the boom boxes! If for some reason you need any help I have a shop standing by. At least there will be two of us FTE`s, I`m sure there will be more unfinished Fords there. A friend of mine may bring his unfinished Flathead V8 powered 29 Roadster. Be great to finally meet in person, see you here.
