coolant leak
My question is for those of you who have had the problem with coolant pushing out the reservoir cap. The cap has been changed and the reservoir replaced. When talking to the dealership, they want to drain some coolant so it is lower than the minimum level on the reservoir. Do any of you think this will stop the coolant from pushing out, or is this some type of bandaid solution to a larger problem? From reading all of these forums, I have not seen once where someone recommended draining some coolant out of the reservoir. Please advise.

Mine was a head warped--and head gaskets of course. Ford tolerence for warpage is .004. Mine was just a tweak over--less than .001 and they replaced it. I was 3 gallons low and mine still blew coolant
