chirping on turns

chirping on turns
i have an 89 bII 2.9L 5spd and when i turn doing about 1500 rpms, i hear a chirping noise coming from somewhere under the hood. it only does this when i turn right and once in a while it will do that when i'm going straight.it hasnt benn doing this for long, but would really like to get it to stop. i had my brother in law look under the hood whilei turned the wheel and he said my motor mounts are bad. could this explan my noise? any help would be grweatly appreciated.

A vacuum cleaner extension wand works wonder in locating noise issues, simply place it on different locations under the hood and put your ear to the other end to listen, keep it from moving parts like the fan though.

found the noise
well folks, i did some inspecting, and was having no luck, until i went to start the truck, when my starter went (or soo i thought) turns out that my starter was just really REALLY loose, and once i tightened it up, it started again, and the noise went away too. must have been the teeth of the flywheel, hittin up against something.
