successful trip
Hi Everyone,
Just got back home to Ohio from central Florida, via Mississippi and Alabama.
1550 miles and my 88 350 dually made it with no problems. 172,000 showing on odometer. Used alot of fuel pulling the 35' fiver, 7-8 mpg, but only 1 1/2 quarts of oil. Stayed close to my buddy and his dodge cummins, except for a couple of long drags.I was maintaining speed limit until outside temps got into the low 90's in KY and I blew a trailer tire. Decided to drop back to around 60 mph, although I do not think the heat caused the tire to blow. Don't want to get too wordy, just happy my old Ford still has it.
