i second cutts on the spicer life series joints, much stronger than the cheapo china joints, and they last 10x longer...why do u think the big three use them?
Spicer life series are great replacements if you have a stock rig or aren't a nut behind the wheel. I've broken them but I wouldn't say thats a knock against them per se.
If your not going torture them have a mild rig and don't want to grease them regularly.
Brute Force sold at Auto Zone they hold up very well and wont wrinkle your billfold.
Hey Pro might I suggest 8" spicers like I use in my big rig if blow one of them.
You've turned way to many shetlands lose.

Junk...i busted one the first day it was in...cracked right down the center...
yea, thats one reason i keep busting driveshafts is those brute force joints keep going. but i have a pile of them so when they are all gone i will resort to some spicer's, 1410's i might add !
I've always thought it was ironic that CTM's have the same acronym as Cash Transfer Machine. How fitting is that? Buying these things transferred cash right out of my wallet pretty quickly, thats for sure.
I think he got the CTM's so they wouldn't blow and take his axles ear too. If I remember correctly, his plan is for the hub to be the "weak" link. We'll see. Transmission is tough, transfer, axles....he's got it almost traced back to the crank like Ryan predicted.
Thats exactly it, I'm leaving hubs as the weak link. I'll use my lifetime warrenty on them untill Warn tells me to take a hike, and then I'll have to go to flanges. I never "try" to break stuff....it just sorta happens. Often
Yea, if I blow a ctm it'll probably wipe out one of my new bling chromoly shafts and that would suck mightily.
