I'm using SCT Pro Racer software for my speed density, boosted, 94 Lightning (C3P2 database). I'm having a problem with the EGR switch: scalers>system_switches>egr_type_switch. I changed the value to a "2" which should diable the EGR funtion all together, but I still get a check engine light and code 33. All of the emissions equipment has been removed with the exception of the canister purge. Also, when I change the value for the egr_type_switch, the cannister_purge_switch value changes to whatever that EGR switch is, and it can't be altered.
I've contacted SCT about this and the tech wasn't sure how to help me being that the majority of applications they deal with are mass air. Any ideas?

 

Did you get the Pro Racer package from me (MotorHaven)?

 

No, I got it little over a year ago from elsewhere, and they haven't been much help because they don't deal much with speed density trucks.

 

Edit: I was just curious to know if have run into this problem before when making programs for these trucks (87-96).
