Trnasfer case noise

Transfer case noise
1998 Ford Exp. EB 4x4.
After having my transfer case oil replaced, I started noticing a one time knock while in 2 wheel drive. It only happens one time at around 18-20 mph. Won't hear again until I stop (or slow down to 2-3 mph) and take off again. Noise goes away when I switch to all wheel drive. Also, when switching to 4 low, the truck seems to "stall" or "slip" in first gear. Another words, I stop, switch to 4 low, give it gas and I hear the RPM going up but the truck is barely moving. Once the truck is out of 1st gear, it seems to move normal. Very confused..any help would be appreciated.
