California Modification Laws

anyone hav a list of the cali rules on modifying veh engines? if i could find out what i can/can't do to my 2.3 liter ford ranger, it'll narrow down how i plan my finances in the future. it wouldnt matter, except i want to stay street legal. i still need to be able to pass cop checks, insurance checks, and smog and dmv. thanks a ton.

Only Bolt On Items W/c.a.r.b. Exemptions. Basically, There Is A Cvc Code For Everything And It's Just Rolling The Dice As To When You Will Get Caught, If Ever.

and you can't remove federal emissions items and you must keep all the c.a.r.b. tags that come with the products you install
