bullydog programer???? any good

just found this one for a 02 7.3 and i can adjust the tire size up to 44 with this programer and 3 power settings. any one are these good

I for one am agains bullydog, because there like banks. BUT, a few guys on here I thought had them and they seemed happy with them. the tire change thing is cool too.

More Bullydog/programmer questions in general

I'm getting a good deal on one of these so I ordered it. A friend put one in and went from 13 mpg to 19 mpg. I'm still confused why you get better mileage from more HP but I guess I'll learn about it one day.

Question-- I'm not going to hot rod the truck at all, I've heard rumors on bad things happening to torque converters-- any info??

Also I don't have the cash for gauges right now-- what gauges do I really NEED when I get that far?
