Non-clockspring airbag code

Non-clockspring airbag code
The airbag light is flashing! What a routine thread, eh? Well, anyway, I believe it's flashing a 5-4 code. I'll go out and check it out to confirm here after I post.
It shouldn't be a clockspring issue, because I still have cruise control and all that jazz. Um, unless the truck can detect the clockspring going out, which I see as unlikely. Anyone experienced this?
Sorry if this is a repeated subject! I ran the search and came up with nothing but 80 million clockspring threads.

95 manual - code 45 is Left hand air bag sensor and bracket not mounted properly to radiator support.. Air bag diagnostic monitor reads more than 2.0 ohms between pin 21 Pink/light blue wire and pin 3 diagnostic monitor reference ground it will give code 45. Basically bad ground at sensor on radiator support LH side behind grille or wiring problem going to air bag monitor under steering wheel. As always disconnect positive battery cable for at least one minute prior to fooling around with any connector or sensor to prevent a used air bag in your truck. There is an inline connector which could be corroded also. Good luck.
