Has anyone used these access wires for use with the Superlift Truespeed Module ?I am looking for the easiest way to run the green & yellow from the truespeed into the engine compartment of my 01 f250.Also what are some of ways everyone ran thier truespeed.Any and all information is appreciated.
Thanks in advanced.
You don't need the access wires. Use the fuse tapper for power and the ground location is on the right (existing). I ran the yellow/green wire through the firewall via an existing hole that is on the drivers side. I tapped the VSS signal wire at the ABS module, per the instructions. Others have found the same wire under the dash...wish i had known it was there, would have been much easier.
The abs wire is under the drivers side battery and airbox. It easier to get at if you drop the drivers iner fender well and follow the instructions on which wire it is. Make sure you use good wire splices and seal them from water. I used permatex silcone and sealed both ends . Then use a GPS or the mile markers and get it dailed in.
Good Luck
I ran the wire thru the firewall via the existing hole(thanks marz) behind the flap in the mat,all the way down to the ABS unit.Going thru the fender well seems to the easiest route will finnish in the morning. Thanks marz & firesout.
