I'm suspecting that the ever present rattle I'm having is due to my stock exhaust manifolds being cracked, or loose. I tried to check the torque on the nuts yesterday, and ended up breaking one off with almost no force on the wrench. I'm getting new headers, no doubt about it.
Seems people on here have had good experiences with no-name headers bought off of E-Bay. Compared to what Borla, Gibson, JBA, etc. want for their headers, the E-Bays are a steal. I've read of some problems with the gaskets and hardware that come with the E-Bay headers, so I'll be on the lookout for that.
Who on here, as bought their headers off of E-Bay, and who did you buy them from (seller name?) How have they held up since you installed them?
Fat's, I have some and so far they have been great. The holes needed to be enlarged some, no big deal if you know ahead of time,I didnt.I would suggest longer bolts also. But all n all they have performed great.I used copper gaskets.
