Changing ratio's
How long has this sight been available?
I'll join as soon as I get some bugs out of this pc.
Question:I ordered this pu but didn't specify axle ratio, did ask for simi-slip rear.
The gears are 3.54 with granny 4sp. I've always wanted to change to another ratio but until I joined in here, I couldn't get any answers and a link in here has what I'm looking for. My Mech are limited, I can change out front axles, drive shafts ect. Can I buy 'pigs already set up' or would it be more reasonable to get gear sets(front and rear) and hire someone to set up.?
Using granny with 3.07 or 3.31 will get us pulling on incline and still get 11 to 14 mpg.
As it stands now3.54 and 10 at the most. 9mpg pulling 12ft enclosed trailer.
