I just got a set of electronic guages from my dad, and there is no wiring with them, so i am lost. i cant even find the manufacturer anymore. So now im lost.
1. On the back there are posts market +,-,B,A and S. I know what = and - are, but whats the rest?
2. I noticed on my ford truck (1976) there is 1 wiring going to the coolant temp sensor, and one to the oil pressure sensor. These also look the same as the Summit ones. Can I use these as senders?
Without knowing what electronic gauges you have it is impossible to tell how they could be wired. I doubt very seriously though that you can use the existing senders for standard instruments with the electronic gauges. They're just made totally differently. Also, trying to install electronic gauges into an older truck with standard gauges will invlove a great deal of rewiring and sensor changes, probably more than it is worth.
You mentioned Summit Racing. Have you given them a call. If they still sell those gauges, they can propably make a copy of the directions and send them to you. Good luck.
They only have TC on the guages. Water Temp and Oil Pressure. They are not a true digital electronic guage, but rather have a scale from say 10 psi to 100 psi, and a lighted bar underneath that will get longer according to pressure or water temp.
I do believe that the + and B terminals were wired together into a toggle switch, S to the sender, and - to a ground. But I cant think of what the A would stand for, I also dont have any sending units for them, but see that summit sells an generic sending unit for each.

What I am getting from that is possibly one is guage power and one is for illumination of the dials. Get a 12v battery charger and try it.
S to the sender, and - to a ground.
Well you have two guages. So you are going to need a wire for each to each sender. That leaves the B and the A. Power the guages up on the + and the - and the guages should swing one direction or another full scale. Then take a short piece of wire and jump the A to -. One of the guages should swing full scale the other way. That would verify that A is the sending unit terminal for that guage.
Then jump the S terminal to -. The other guage should swing full scale the same as the other guage did.
