Exclamation 72 Highboy

Just had a 1972 F-250 Highboy given to me! Only problems are that the gas cap is M.I.A, along with the title, bed is falling apart at the seams, and it hasn't been run in over a year.

The plus' are its riding on D60s, has a healthy 390/NP435/NP205 trio, and it was free.

Sorry, just had to tell a few people. Gives me a reason to sell the 93'.

That sounds like a sweet deal to me. What do you have to do to get it running ? Got any pics ? It doesnt get any better than a free highboy. I have 2 Hoodside emblems for a 67-72 F250 if you need them.

It's all complete (minus g-cap) Needs new bed and a serious sand-blasting of the frame.

Gotta get a battery in it (got on thats only two months old), drain the water outta the tank, possably replace it completely, and change oil. Oh, and a new front driveline.

I'll have pics tomorrow, have to return a tow dolly to my friend, which is where it's @ seeing as my parents will kill me when they find out I've got another rig (Six as of now), so its my little er big secret.

I think I was mistaken when I said 72' had to stop and think about which grille was which, 71' is [-|-|-] and 72' is [=||=||=] IF you get what i'm trying to show (Grille inserts)

I'm pissed, the JACKA$$ just sold it out from under me.

Told him to give me till today to find a place for it; he said okay...that was Thursday.

Some guy offered him $250 for it yesterday so he took the $$$.

This guy's been my friend for the past 6 years and now he does this ******. WTF

Damn indian givers, (no offense)

I talked to him, turns out he didn't want me/him in trouble with the law (a.k.a my mother)

If the other guy doesn't come through I'll go talk to him about it, meanwhile I'll go back to tinkering with the rotary rocket and sell the three other vehicles that need to go; plus theres a 68/69 of the same thing, but in better shape, about 4 miles from my house. Going to look at it later.

Somebody needs to buy my 93' off of me.
