Looking for two items
I am looking for two items for my 88 F-150 5 liter MPFI, with the Mazda 5-spd.
First is a kit somewhat like the K&N FIPK kits. It doesn't need to be the same, just something to replace the goofy airbox, and tubing assembly. I realize I will still end up with two tubes, as the throttle body assembly has two.( If there is a bolt-on replacement for that also, I would be interested).
Second is a new shifter for the tranny. That thing has to be the most god awful looking shifter even made, not to mention the pattern is about as long as my old 84 ford o/d shift pattern was.(I'm teaching the wife to drive stick, and it is hard for her to hit all the gears, and damn near impossible for me to wedge into the seat when she slides it up so she can reach first)
I love the look of a B&M, short throw, or even an old Hurst circle cutout style, but I am not picky, just no anodized Ricer Boys look.
