Ax, isn't that always the case. It's that little sucker Murphy and his ridiculous law. If I ever catch up with the rascal I have a few choice words for him
To you guys who are ready or near ready to order: I have bought and installed EZ, Ron F,and Wiremaster, after seeing the Route 15 and 22, I bought the complete kit and am very impressed. It is a VERY complete kit with nothing more to buy. The instruction sheet is very nice and I find nothing to take issue with. The pigtails and all plugs are terminated so you start at the end of circuit and work your way to the fuse panel. All wires are colorcoded and marked every 5". I just got the cab back from paint shop today, so I will begin the install on Saturday. It is made by American Autowire. Worth looking into for sure.
El Cabron,
Thanks for the info. I was just about to order the EZ Wiring 21 circuit kit, now I have to rethink the whole process.
I did notice on their website that they list a ground kit as an extra. Is this for fiberglass bodied vehicles? YOu shouldn't need extra gounds like that with a steel bodies vehicle should you?
I bought the EZ wire 21 circuit kit, but wish I had found this one first. 50.00 less expensive, looks to be a nicer easier to mount fuseblock, every bit as complete.
Yes, the grounding kit would be primarily for FG cars. A couple 25' spools of black wire from Wally-World will only run you ~ 10.00 if you need extra grounds.

Is Route 15 and 22 a name of a wire kit if so do you know there url or how to reach them. thanks never herd the name or the term Ed ke6bnl
It's actually Highway 15 and Highway 21 .... Denver Specialty Center 1-800-299-0677 Ask for Tim, tell him John "OxygenBoy" sent you and you will pay less than factory price. WWW.americanautowire.com I have mine layed out for further inspection and I am more impressed now. I am installing tonite when it cools down.
Well, finally done with the install on the Highway 15. Took longer than normal since I hid each and every wire so that they will not be seen from anyplace under the hood and I used "quik-plugs" for the dash panel and for anything under dash so I could bench wire and then plug in to the truck.. I also mounted the panel at rear of cab upside down so that I can read it standing up. Works great. As expected , this set up is a lot nicer and easier than all the other brands that I have installed. Added 2 pics in " Harness " gallery.
