My 98 Lariat has 50K miles on it. I had the tranny fluid changed at 40K (early) because it took forever to shift into "third" when it was cold in the morning.
If you have experienced this, you know what I am talking about.
After the fluid change, it was like new.
Now, it is back to taking forever to shift in the morning. I end up driving along, with the engine rev'ing at high RPM's, before it finally shifts.
Also, it feels "sluggish", like the brake is on, or something. The fluid level is fine and the fluid is pink.
When the fluid was changed, they said they "adjusted it", so I thought between the fluid change and their "adjustment", it was good to go.
Is this common with this year range of F150's? I would feel like an idiot if I took it in to be checked with such minor symptoms, but it bugs me.
