My intermittent wipers aren't working. They work fine on full speed. They stop in the middle of the cycle on delay. I've gotten the timing down so I can stop them at the base of the windshield but it's getting old.
3 things geoffnj,wiper motor,multifunction sw,poor grounds.
What yr truck ?
When on high or low they park where there supposed too?
But when on intermittent they stop in the middle of the cycle or are they just dying?
Or are you saying when you push the squirter button on the multifunction sw they work but don't park after done?
Without you having schematics it will be pretty hard.
if you give me some more detailed info I might be able to he;p further.

My truck is a 2000 Lariat. The wipers will work fine on full speed (no delay) and when I use the squirter. Even then they do not "park" where they should. I have to time the shut-off to get them to stop at the bottom. If I just turn them on one click on the delay, they only go half-way up the windshield then stop. I have to keep clicking the switch back and forth to keep them moving. Someone said to check the linkage connections on the wiper motor. It just started without warning one morning.
Out of desperation, I stopped by the dealer. "They've never seen it" was what I got. They gave me the option of replacing the entire blinker/wiper switch, the gem module behind the fuse panel or the wiper motor with linkage. They are priced $95-$350 in that order. Has anyone heard of anything like this?
geoffnj did you ever find out what the problem was with your wipers? im having the exact same problem with my 2000 super duty xlt 350 would like to know its driving me insane! well alright maybe the wipers had nothing to do with it, but i would still like to know how you fixed the problem thanks the deno
No, I never did find out. It drives me nuts still. There are days I want to run it into a tree just for that alone. Where did you find out about the recall? How much was it? At this point I'll trade one of my kids.
