Figured I would try another question on all of you experts out there since my last question got answered really quick.
When I start my 99 F-150 V-6, right after the truck "turns over" there is a really quick noise that seems to come from the engine area. It isn't a really loud noise but it is like a little grind. Not really a metal on metal grind. For maybe a half of a second to a full second. It does not do this at every start. I am just not sure exactly what it could be. I know asking a question about noises over the net is really hard but thought I would give it a try.
/edit Now that I think about it, the noise is almost like the same noise as if you were to try and start a vehicle that has already been started. If that makes sense.
