4.0 supercharging question

Hi I am posting this for a freind of mine. He was wondering if the superchared 3.8L thunderbird intake manifold would fit on his 98 explorer with the 4.0L in it. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!

As far as I am aware.
No.
If I recall correctly, the 3.8l is not related to the 4.0l truck motor (OHV or OHC), the only relation the 3.8l has is the 4.2l in the F150 heritage that was essentialy a stroked 3.8l.
I may be wrong, so wait for someone else to chime in before you scrap the idea entirely.
