About 20 seconds after starting my truck, my yellow ABS light comes on and stays on. Is this something bad, something I can fix myself? Brakes otherwise work fine, by the way this is a 93 Bronco with four wheel ABS. Could it be a speed sensor, or maybe the module? Are these things ridiculously expensive?
Thanks, I know it's a lot of questions...

The first thing to check is your brake lights. Is one of the bulbs burned out or the brake light harness unplugged? I had the same problem. If my 1988 F-150 was started and idled in park the light did not come on. However, after driving for about 20 seconds, the light would come on. I checked the codes on the RABS and was given a hint it was the brake lights.
Hope this helps.

Doug ,
What I have seen a lot of times is debris will get between the sensor and the trigger wheel . Also on the rear sensor, I believe yours uses one sensor mounted in the top of the rear diff , this one often picks up tiny metal particles and will cause the abs light to come on . Check the Abs codes and the sensors for dirt , metal before you replace any part .
