460 using oil after sitting
I have a motorhome that has sat for a couple of years and I just took a 200 mile trip and used 4 quarts of oil.
First I see no leaks at all. I do not see oil coming from the exhaust at any time including decelleration.
I am wondering if possibly the rings have set up over the past couple of years and if I use some Marvel Mystery oil they should loosen up.
I was also thinking that I could add some RESTORE to the crank case.
The other thing that I am wondering is what type of valve guide seals are used on the 1990 vintage over 8900 GVW engines.
