I have a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer AWD 4.6L V8 with a BBK 70mm throttle body and a K&N FIPK gen II intake system. I want to buy a cat back exhaust system, but want something with low cabin noise. So far I have looked at the series 70 model by flowmaster and the Gibson exhaust. Does anybody else have any suggestions. Ultimately, I want more low end torque and more passing power.
Also, should I buy a performance chip too?

I have the Gibson cat-back on my 97 5.0. Nice rumble, not very loud in the cabin either. I believe the flowmaster would be quite a bit louder. I have a custom made Magnaflow set up on my 02 300M and it has more cabin noise than the Gibson.
