Side gapped spark plugs
What can yo uguys tell me about side gapping spark plugs? I bought a set of autolite plugs and side gapped them and installed them in my "86 F150 last nite right now it seems to be doin ok but----I also side gapped the plugs in my 8n ford tractor and it ran good----for about 15 min then 3 of the 4 plugs are totally dead. any one have any experiance with this stuff? Alos i truely side gapped them shortning and moving the ground electrode to the side of the center electrode, should i have just cut off half of the ground electrode and left it OVER the center one??
